Lotte Biologics will take part in a series of major global bio events in October to showcase its contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) capabilities. The company's strategy is to accelerate the acquisition of global clients by highlighting the large-scale commercial production capacity of its Songdo Bio Campus and a Korea-U.S. "dual site" structure that links the campus with its plant in Syracuse, New York.
Lotte Biologics said on the 14th that it will operate its own booth at CPHI Milan 2026, a global pharmaceutical exhibition running from Oct. 6 to 8 (Korean time) in Milan, Italy, and at Bio Japan 2026, held from Oct. 7 to 9 in Yokohama, Japan. It will also attend World ADC San Diego, scheduled for Oct. 12 to 15 in San Diego.
At the three events, the company plans to expand partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech firms from around the world and identify new business opportunities.
At CPHI Milan 2026, ahead of its Songdo Bio Campus reaching GMP-Ready status — a state in which the plant has completed preparations in line with good manufacturing practice standards — Lotte Biologics will focus on promoting its large-scale commercial production capacity and the competitiveness of its Korea-U.S. dual site. On the first and second days of the event, it will present its large-scale commercial production capacity and its strengths in bispecific antibodies at its booth. The company will also set up private meeting rooms of various sizes to actively pursue business meetings with potential clients.
In Japan, the company will emphasize automation and digital technology. At its own exhibition booth at Bio Japan 2026, it will introduce an automated manufacturing control system (MCS), digital twin technology and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation, stressing quality stability and production efficiency. It will also hold partnering meetings with potential global clients.
In the United States, Lotte Biologics will focus on its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) CDMO business. World ADC San Diego is a leading global event in the ADC field, where pharmaceutical and biotech companies and experts from various countries share the latest research findings and technology trends. Lotte Biologics plans to present the strengths of its in-house ADC platform in a presentation session and stress its technological competitiveness as a global ADC CDMO.
The company is also building a foundation to win more global orders. Since early this year, Lotte Biologics has expanded cooperation with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies and disclosed a total of four order wins. In June, it obtained use approval for Plant 1 at the Songdo Bio Campus, which is capable of large-scale production.
"We will continue global partnering and work to expand orders and strengthen our global competitiveness," an official at Lotte Biologics said.
