China's Xiaomi is making its first appearance at IFA 2026, the world's largest consumer electronics show, showcasing artificial intelligence capabilities that include a humanoid robot and an in-house AI chip.
Xiaomi said on the 3rd that it will occupy a 3,300-square-meter booth at IFA 2026, which opens in Berlin on the 4th, under the theme "Human × Car × Home Smart Ecosystem," unveiling more than 380 products and technologies. It is the largest booth the company has ever operated at an overseas exhibition. Xiaomi said it aims to use its IFA debut to strengthen the competitiveness of its AI-based ecosystem in global markets.
Alongside conventional home appliances, Xiaomi unveiled a range of AI-related products, including the CyberOne humanoid robot and the XRing O3, a 3-nanometer application processor the company developed on its own to compete with U.S. Big Tech firms.
CyberOne will perform live demonstrations at the show, including finger-heart and thumbs-up gestures. The robot has already been deployed on a trial basis at Xiaomi's electric vehicle plant, where its performance is being tested. Xiaomi plans to advance the robot's perception, control and task execution capabilities to gain an early lead in the humanoid market. The company said that after applying the humanoid to nut-fastening work at the EV plant, the task success rate rose from 90% to 98% within four months.
Xiaomi is also unveiling the Xiaomi 18 Fold, the first foldable phone to carry the XRing O3. The model is expected to serve as a test of Xiaomi's push for independence in smartphone processors, an area where it has relied on Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips. The XRing O3 also uses LPDDR6 memory from Chinese chipmaker CXMT.
The company is presenting its latest AI models, including MiMo V2.5 Pro, MiLoco and MiClo. Xiaomi said it will use these AI technologies to further strengthen its smart factory capabilities. The company currently runs a smart manufacturing system with annual production capacity of 10 million smartphones.
Xiaomi is also displaying the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, a futuristic concept car inspired by the racing game "Gran Turismo." The vehicle combines design and performance through features such as an airflow-optimized "shaped by wind" design, an active wake control system and Xiaomi Pulse, an in-car AI assistant. The new Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi SU7 Ultra are also on display.
"Participating in IFA is an important milestone in Xiaomi's global journey," Chief Marketing Officer Xu Fei said. "Starting with smartphones, we are expanding our business into smart homes and electric vehicles while continuing to invest in foundational technologies such as AI, operating systems, semiconductors and smart manufacturing, connecting our ecosystem into one."
