Samsung Electronics is rolling out the Galaxy S26 FE, a handset that packs core flagship features and artificial intelligence into a lower-priced model.
Samsung Electronics (005930) said on the 3rd that the Galaxy S26 FE will go on sale in South Korea on the 4th. The phone is priced at 1.045 million won. It comes in a single 256-gigabyte configuration and in three colors: blueberry, graphite and pistachio.
The device focuses on video recording and AI features. It supports My FanCam, which tracks the movement of a specific person in a video, and Super Steady, which locks the horizon to reduce shake. The phone also runs One UI 9, Samsung's latest software. Features called Now Brief and Now Nudge read the user's context and suggest tasks, making the device easier to use.
Samsung has also created a subscription program to widen sales. Buyers of the unlocked model who join the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club are guaranteed up to 50% of the residual value when they later return the device. The package also bundles Samsung Care Plus device coverage and discounts on accessories.
All buyers receive a six-month subscription to Google AI Pro, worth 29,000 won a month, a two-month subscription to the audiobook platform Welaaa, and three coupons for 30% off accessories at Samsung.com. The phone will be sold at Samsung Store outlets nationwide and at mobile carriers' online and offline shops.
