Mirae Asset Securities (006800.KS) is revamping and rolling out a YouTube live seminar for pension investors.
On Wednesday, Mirae Asset Securities said it will launch "30 Minutes on the Way Home, Pension Investment Insight," a program that strengthens the content and structure of its existing pension seminar. The first broadcast begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The seminar is designed to let office workers access pension investment information without pressure for 30 minutes during their commute home. It focuses on delivering practical investment information—including pension asset allocation strategies, exchange-traded fund (ETF) investing, and tax savings—in an easy-to-understand way.
In the pension market recently, an investment culture has spread in which investors move away from managing accounts centered on principal-and-interest guaranteed products and actively manage their pensions based on asset allocation. As a result, investor interest in related information has grown. Mirae Asset Securities explained that it revamped the program to regularly provide the pension information investors need in line with these changes.
The seminar consists of three parts. Part 1 introduces recent financial market trends and pension asset allocation strategies, and Part 2 delivers six key tips to know when investing in ETFs through a pension account. Experts from various fields, including Mirae Asset Securities' Investment and Pension Center, along with tax accountants, labor attorneys, and asset management firm fund managers, will appear to provide a range of information needed for pension asset management. The final segment offers a time to answer viewers' questions through real-time comments.
The broadcast can be viewed for free by anyone on Mirae Asset Securities' YouTube channel "Smart Money" and its mobile trading system (MTS) "M-STOCK." Mirae Asset Securities plans to run the seminar regularly once a month. In particular, it plans to actively reflect customer interests identified through real-time comments in future broadcast topics and content planning.
"We prepared this seminar to provide pension investors with timely, needed information and ideas in a rapidly changing market environment," a Mirae Asset Securities official said. "We will continue to present content that offers practical help for pension investing while communicating with customers two ways."
