
Korean Air (003490.KS) labor and management have reached a final agreement on their 2026 wage and collective bargaining deal, centered on a base pay increase within 2.5 percent of total wages and the payment of a special bonus of 2 million won.
Korean Air said it held the signing ceremony for the 2026 wage and collective bargaining agreement Friday at its headquarters in Gangseo, Seoul, attended by Korean Air Vice Chairman Woo Kihong and Korean Air labor union chairman Cho Young-nam, among others.
Under the agreement, Korean Air will raise the base pay of general, technical, and cabin crew employees by rank within 2.5 percent of total wages, effective April 1. The company decided to pay a special bonus of 2 million won per person to recognize the hard work of its employees during the integration process with Asiana Airlines. Labor and management also agreed on measures to improve the working environment and employee benefits, including promotions, improvements to the vacation system, and expanded eligibility for employee airfare.
