Kia (000270.KS) will unveil three new PV5 models and industry-tailored collaboration models at the "2026 Busan Mobility Show," held at Bexco in Busan from the 26th through the 5th of next month. The strategy aims to lead the Purpose Built Vehicle (PBV) market by offering a range of products tailored to consumer needs and business environments.
The PV5 models newly introduced by Kia are the Passenger 7-Seater, Prime, and Cargo High Roof.
The PV5 Passenger 7-Seater features a 2-2-3 configuration with the second-row seats arranged to one side, improving boarding and exiting convenience for the third row.
The PV5 Prime is a conversion model based on the PV5 Passenger, offering a premium travel experience with independent rear seats, rails, and ventilated seats.
The PV5 Cargo High Roof raises the interior height by 295mm compared to the existing PV5 Cargo Long and offers an optional walk-through function that allows free movement between the driver's seat and the work space.

Kia plans to continue expanding the PV5 lineup with a Passenger 5-Seater (1-2-2) for taxi and demand-responsive mobility, a box truck exclusively for small business owners, and models specialized for outdoor and leisure use.
At this exhibition, Kia will also present an "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Patrol Car" developed in collaboration with the Korean National Police Agency. Based on the PV5 Passenger 5-Seater, it is designed to detect hazards early and support patrols linking ground and air operations. The top of the vehicle is equipped with three 4K-grade AI cameras and a drone station, while monitors are installed in the interior and at the rear of the vehicle.
Visitors can also see a "mobile pet pop-up store" produced in collaboration with pet supplies platform Fitpet, a mobile office "Mobile Bank" developed with partner company KC Motors, and a "bike transport vehicle" created in collaboration with bike brand Ducati Korea.
Kia President Song Ho-sung said at the press day event, "Starting with the launch of the EV6 in 2021 through the EV2 earlier this year, Kia has presented customers with new options across a total of six EV models, leading the popularization of EVs." He added, "We are proactively responding to changes in the future mobility industry, which is being reshaped around autonomous driving, SDV, and robotics."
Song said, "Kia plans to expand its EV lineup to a total of 14 models, including three PBVs, by 2030," adding, "We will move toward becoming an 'EV Tier 1' brand that changes the paradigm of mobility by realizing the needs of each and every customer through mobility."
The Kia exhibition hall will also display the EV3, EV4 GT, EV5, EV6 GT, and EV9 EV lineup, as well as the Vision Gran Turismo concept car.
