Yuhan Corporation and Huinno are launching the full commercial rollout of their artificial intelligence (AI) solution "MEMO Cue." Yuhan announced Tuesday that it will supply MEMO Cue to H Plus Yangji Hospital, which operates integrated nursing and caregiving services. The solution will be applied to approximately 100 beds, primarily in departments where cardiac monitoring is essential.
MEMO Cue is an AI telemetry solution that analyzes inpatients' electrocardiogram (ECG) data in real time, enabling early detection of abnormal signs and supporting rapid clinical decision-making. A key feature is that it can utilize hospitals' existing Wi-Fi and communications infrastructure without requiring a separate network gateway, lowering the barrier to adoption.
According to Yuhan, the ultra-compact wearable ECG monitor "MEMO Patch M," which is part of the MEMO Cue solution, offers enhanced completeness and patient convenience. Equipped with a defibrillation protection circuit, the device delivers more than 99% of therapeutic energy to the patient while allowing measurements to resume within five seconds of a shock. MEMO Patch M received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last year. 510(k) is a U.S. regulatory pathway that demonstrates a new medical device is substantially equivalent to an existing device marketed in the country.
"MEMO Cue allows rapid deployment by utilizing existing hospital communication networks without separate network construction, and real-time monitoring of patient conditions is expected to contribute to easing the workload and fatigue of medical staff," said Kim Sang-il, president of H Plus Yangji Hospital. "Given that it can establish an intensive care unit-level monitoring environment even in general wards, the effect in terms of patient safety management will be significant."
"This supply agreement marks the first commercial case of MEMO Cue and will serve as an opportunity to prove the solution's competitiveness through actual use inside a hospital," said Kil Young-jun, CEO of Huinno. "Based on our partnership with Yuhan, we will expand adoption at major hospitals and accelerate business expansion both at home and abroad." A Yuhan official added, "We expect that an advanced in-hospital monitoring system capable of accurate alerts and swift response will help inpatients recover safely and quickly."
