Yuhan said on the 14th that it officially launched the "Yuhan Corp. 100th Anniversary Online History Museum" on the 11th to mark its centennial, featuring the company's history and founding spirit.
The online museum was built on the general history compiled in the "100-Year History of Yuhan Corp.," published for the centennial. It allows visitors to trace the company's 100-year history by era through various historical materials, including records and photographs dating back to its 1926 founding.
Key content covers founder Dr. Yoo Il-han's management philosophy, Yuhan's growth, centennial commemorative videos and card news, and the various centennial projects carried out this year.
The section "A Great Visionary, Dr. Yoo Il-han" introduces the life of the founder, who succeeded as a young entrepreneur in the United States, returned to Korea in 1926 to establish Yuhan Corp., and devoted himself to the independence movement. His conviction in returning his entire fortune to society continues today through various public-interest activities carried out by the Yuhan Foundation. His philosophy emphasizing the separation of ownership and management also became the foundation of Yuhan's professional management system and corporate culture.
Through the online museum, Yuhan plans to share the values it has upheld over the past century and the meaning of its challenges with employees, customers and the public. The main content is designed for digital access, allowing anyone to use it without constraints of time or place.
"We hope the online history museum becomes a space to look back on Yuhan's past 100 years and share our founding spirit and corporate values with future generations," a Yuhan official said. "We will continue to pursue challenges and innovation to build a new century for human health and a better society."
The Yuhan Corp. centennial online history museum is accessible through the company's website.
