CORTIS has cemented its status as a K-pop trendsetter, reaching the 200 million streaming milestone for a single track for the first time since its debut.
According to its agency BigHit Music on Wednesday, "GO!," a track from CORTIS's first mini-album, surpassed 200 million cumulative plays on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify as of June 26. CORTIS consists of members Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon and Keonho. The achievement came about nine months after the song's official release on Sept. 8, 2025. The track first reached 100 million streams on Jan. 2, 116 days after its release, and added another 100 million in just over five months. This marks the highest play count for a single track among all songs CORTIS has released so far. It also draws attention as the only such record among boy groups that debuted within the past five years.
The song proved its global popularity by being named "Best K-Pop of 2025" by British magazines NME and Dazed, as well as Apple Music and Spotify. It ranked second on U.S. Billboard's "The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025: Staff Picks." Six months after its release, the song entered Billboard's sub-chart "Pop Airplay" (dated March 7) and remained ranked for 14 weeks. BigHit said, "It is unusual for a song by a rookie K-pop boy group, less than a year after debut, to enjoy such a long run on a radio airplay-based chart, which is considered an indicator of mainstream popularity."
Buoyed by this momentum, cumulative streams of the first mini-album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" surpassed 600 million plays on Spotify's chart dated June 23. In addition to "GO!," another track "FaSHioN" had been played approximately 183.5 million times as of June 27, putting it on the verge of 200 million plays.

"REDRED" surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify on June 16, 57 days after its release, setting a new record for the shortest time to reach 100 million for a song by a boy group that debuted within the past five years.
