POSCO DX (022100.KS) said on the 22nd that it will enter the corporate artificial intelligence transformation, or AX, business with an AI agent and an AI platform it developed in-house.
In July, the company developed an AI agent called Agenti-C, which handles the preparatory steps for building AI agents for internal operations, including work diagnostics, requirement analysis and design documentation. POSCO DX said it developed Agenti-C after concluding that the conventional approach — assigning consultants to every project to carry out AX tasks — was too slow.
The company has also developed and is operating a platform called Agenti, which manages the full life cycle of AI agents, from development and operation to evaluation and redeployment. The work analysis and design output generated by Agenti-C is fed into Agenti, which then supports every stage of building and running the AI agents.
POSCO DX plans to use Agenti-C and Agenti to move into the AX business for outside clients within this year. The company aims to cut the time required for client AX consulting and AI agent design by more than half.
"We will use AI agents to systematically identify AX projects and to support them efficiently from development through operation and management," a POSCO DX official said.
