GYEONGJU — The Gyeongsangbuk-do Culture and Tourism Corporation will hold a three-day Chuseok holiday festival starting on the 24th at Bomun Lakeside Plaza and Gyeongju Expo Park in Gyeongju, the corporation said.
At Bomun Lakeside Plaza, a hands-on venue for traditional folk games including yut nori will operate throughout the event, along with a participatory treasure hunt designed for families. Other programs include making traditional mood lamps, writing "slow postcards" and magic performances.
Gyeongju Expo Park will offer discounted admission and run a program called "Silla Games With Hwani and Woni." Visitors can play traditional games such as yut nori, tuho and jegi chagi, while the park will also feature a "Mission Road" course with tasks set up across the grounds and taekwondo performances.
