Yuhan (000100) will set up its own booth at CPHI Milan 2026, the world's largest pharmaceutical and biotech trade show, as it moves to expand its contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) business. The company plans to seek new partnerships with overseas pharmaceutical and biotech firms by highlighting the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production capabilities of its subsidiary Yuhan Chemical and its drug research and development pipeline.
Yuhan said it will take part in CPHI Worldwide 2026, held in Milan, Italy, from the 6th to the 8th. CPHI is a global pharmaceutical and biotech exhibition that rotates among major European cities each year, drawing companies from across the industry — including API suppliers, CDMOs, drug packaging firms and production equipment makers — for talks on business cooperation and orders.
Staff from Yuhan's global business, R&D and overseas sales units will attend the event to hold one-on-one business meetings with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The company said it will focus on presenting not only its own drug development capabilities but also its API production infrastructure tied to Yuhan Chemical and its CDMO operations built on current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) standards.
Yuhan aims in particular to build the API business into one pillar of its overseas operations. Yuhan Chemical, the key affiliate responsible for Yuhan's API production, is steadily expanding capacity while moving quickly to win overseas clients on the strength of a quality control system aligned with global regulatory standards. The company said it will increase contract manufacturing volumes from existing clients and use CPHI to find new partners, continuing to expand CDMO orders. It will also present its drug pipeline as a key asset for broadening global partnerships.
"CPHI is an important opportunity to showcase Yuhan's global commercialization capabilities and technology to overseas markets," a Yuhan official said. "Based on our innovative drug pipeline and world-class CDMO competitiveness, we will strengthen cooperation with existing partners and expand new business opportunities."
