
The Korea Exchange will unveil measures to strengthen the competitiveness of the KOSDAQ market next month and introduce 59 companies listed on the KOSDAQ and KONEX markets to domestic and overseas investors.
The Korea Exchange said on the 22nd that it will hold KOSDAQ Day on Oct. 6-7 at its Seoul office in Yeouido as part of Korea Premium Week 2026.
On the first day, Oct. 6, the exchange will hold a KOSDAQ policy seminar and investor relations (IR) sessions for KONEX-listed companies. In the morning, it will present key tasks for strengthening KOSDAQ competitiveness, including improvements to listing and delisting rules, support for innovative companies and efforts to build investor confidence.
In the afternoon, the program will cover industry outlooks for major KOSDAQ sectors such as pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, semiconductors, K-beauty and medical devices. Analysts Eom Min-woong of Shinhan Securities, Son In-jun of Eugene Investment & Securities and Park Jong-hyun of Daol Investment & Securities will present their outlooks for each sector.
On the KONEX side, 26 companies will take part in IR sessions, including Nano Solution and Songwoo Infotech, both of which listed this year.
On Oct. 7, IR sessions for 33 KOSDAQ-listed companies will be held in the morning and afternoon. Participants include Pharma Research, Ligachem Biosciences, Lunit, Classys and Hugel, along with newly listed firms such as Ingenia Therapeutics and CMTX.
Among them, seven companies including Olix and Jeju Semiconductor will also hold separate corporate briefings. The KOSDAQ IR sessions are for institutional investors and require advance registration. The policy presentations and industry outlook lectures are open free of charge to any investor interested in the KOSDAQ market.
The exchange said it aims to deepen domestic and overseas investors' understanding of the KOSDAQ market's growth potential and its major listed companies, while broadening the connection between the venture capital market and investors.
