An exhibition where visitors can experience famous scenes from more than 40 popular K-dramas and receive recommendations for regional travel routes tailored to their tastes is opening in Seoul.
The Korea Tourism Organization said on the 21st that it will host the "K-Drama Experience Exhibition" with Studio Dragon at HiKR Ground on Cheonggyecheon-ro in Seoul's Jung-gu district through Nov. 19. The exhibition is themed "Scenes to Destinations."
The exhibition features more than 40 Studio Dragon dramas, including "Goblin," "Mr. Sunshine," "Hotel Del Luna," "Crash Landing on You," "True Beauty," "Vincenzo," "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "Yumi's Cells," "Our Blues," "Queen of Tears" and "Tyrant's Chef." Visitors can view memorable lines and scenes from each title, along with soundtracks, filming props and information about actual shooting locations.
Hands-on programs let visitors type lines from the dramas to create their own scripts, or collect postcards of memorable lines and scenes, record-shaped pieces and prop stickers. When visitors scan items collected at the exhibition at a kiosk, the system analyzes their preferences, recommends travel routes to regional cities and issues a ticket containing related travel information.
The tourism agency is also organizing a "K-Drama Filming Location Travel Showcase" in partnership with global online travel agencies. Travel packages linked to drama filming locations can be purchased on site at the showcase.
